Training and Development - Pathway to Excellence - Supervisors

Becoming a supervisor for the first-time can be an exciting yet challenging career transition.   It also can be stressful for both the new supervisor and the company.

For the first-time supervisor, there a whole new range of responsibilities to assume and learn, many of which have little to do with their former duties.  There are people to lead and roles to figure out.  There are a wide range of rules and regulations to understand and enforce.  Work is never done.  The pace is hectic.  They must represent upper management to their team members and their team members to upper management.  They're stuck in the middle and they can feel very alone.  At times, it can all feel very overwhelming.

For the company, the challenge can be just as daunting.  Financial and human resources are stretched to the limit.  There's not enough time in the day to do what needs to get done.  Customers are demanding and their needs take top priority. So, as a result, orientation, training, development, coaching and mentoring take a back seat.  That's not a knock on anyone.  It's just the reality of the ever changing, fast paced business world we live in today.

At High Performance Human Resources we specialize in developing first-time supervisors into leaders.  How do we do it?  Through our Pathway to Excellence program!  This three step program will give your supervisors the skill sets necessary to be a successful leader not only in the company but in today's business world.
